 To know me is to love me...

Originally from Chicago, I've been in Las Vegas most of my life. It's a cool place to live, but I've found the people here tend to lack something very important. Authenticity. I'm as real as it comes, and I enjoy the company of people who are just as authentic with their demeanor.

About me... I'm an easy going cat. I enjoy just being in my own skin and kicking back in the company of good people. My passion is writing. I've recently come upon an opportunity to have my first book of poetry published, so that is my goal in life, to eventually write full time and enjoy the life of an author. My first book, The Hopeful Romantic is going to be released on July 5, 2011 (my birthday!)

Besides my writing, I also hold down a full time job working in resort services at Las Vegas' newest hotels experience, the Cosmopolitan.

My hobbies include writing of course, photography, and spoken word. I'm working on perfecting my spoken word persona, but it's coming along. I also enjoy a good book (especially if I wrote it) and watching movies. Not much of a TV person, but I have a few shows that I watch religiously.

Family is very important to me, as well are my friends. So when making friends, I'm pretty choosy. Those who have a superficiality complex or ego-centric people need not apply. I also appreciate good conversation as intelligence and classiness is important to me.
