recent blog postsAs We LayPosted September 17th, 2008 at 08:37pm
As We Lay our thoughts on paper, notes, emails, and text I'm reminded in my pursuit of complete happiness that something is missing. Yes writing letters have always been a form of communication, however as we emerge into this world of technology we are provided with additional means to communicate without human contact. As We Lay our words in text we miss the facial expressions of a person's adoring admiration. As We Lay our emotions in emails we miss the affection of the person who is receiving the love we're share. As We Lay our frustration in notes, we miss the look of uncaring expression from the person who's receiving so many notes, they could care less anyway. As We Lay our commitment onto paper, we miss the look of acceptance as they say, I do. As We continue to Lay in this manner, the intimacy of human contact will diminish.
Coming To An EndPosted September 09th, 2008 at 04:52pm
As we come to the end of summer, I feel the need to reflect on days passed. Dispite the look of my pictures, Im not all about me and looking a certain way. You may feel I had a very fullfilled summer in the sense of being out there and having fun in the sun. Not really. I spent the summer growing and evolving, loving and caring for my children. At this time in my life I am faced with change. Re-conditioning myself from the 17 year relationship I had with my ex-husband. I didn't use the summer to party, I used the summer to BREATH and those who know me, know what that mean. Every day is a journey and I'm writing the book. So as it Come To An End I welcome the beganing of a new chapter. and I encourage you to turn the page on your life and bring the drama to an End. Follow along...it gets better. Be Happy...I AmPosted July 09th, 2008 at 06:38pm Hello all. Just wanted to share a little of what I use to keep me focused, grounded, full of joy and keeping a positive out look on life and people. "Living is a form of not being sure, not knowing what's next or how. The moment we know how, we begin to die a little. We never entirely know. We guess. We may be wrong, but we take leap after leap in the dark" - Agnes De Mille "Unless you walk out into the unknown, the odds of making a profound difference in your life are pretty low." - Tom Peters "There's a big difference between seeing an opportunity and seizing an opportunity" - Jim Moore. I read a lot, I listen more and I learn always. I take these quotes and many others, wisdom from proven achievers, the Bible and my life experiences as tools when faced with challenges. I have found that keeping myself filled with this kind of fuel keeps my momentum when taking on the ups and downs of life. Try it. |

personal messageLife is too short, I've decided to live life to it's fullest. I hope to find or to be found by a caring, honest, considerate, passionate, loving man. A person who knows what he wants in a women and is ready to give all the positive qualities he has to offer. I'm a women who knows how to appreciate what life and people have to offer; who always looks for the best in people. I am a women who has direction and knows what I need to do to stay happy and to get and keep a good man. I've been told I'm too nice, too sweet, too caring and too good to be true. I've concluded that this is just who I am and I'm not changing a thing. I will grow, and continue to evolve; so what ever is good about me will get Better and what ever is bad will dissipate. Now that I have given all that I can give and have moved on from the underserving, I'm ready to take on the next phase of my life with that special one. Are you him?? favorite pages |
