We are a sorority that caters to the wants and needs of mothers. We promote higher education, self improvement and community service. Our main focus is to uplift our community back giving back to those who need it most. Without our community where would we be?

Sigma Beta Xi is unlike a lot of sororities, in the fact that we do not require you to be a college student. Lets face it, college is only one way to develop education. This enables us to have a variety of women from a variety of backgrounds. We also do not require you to be a mother. Although we are catered to mothers, we find many women without children who are passionate about the same issues as we are. Race and age are also not a factor, we just ask that you be 18 and graduated or with a GED. Please don't think we will take anyone who shows an interest, we want women who want to put in time and network with a group of sisters that rivals most.

There are chapters in many areas of the country, including our grand chapter in Murfreesboro, TN, and we have a deep desire to put them everywhere we possibly can. If you feel that you would be a good fit, have the time and energy and enthusiasm we need, please let us know!
