I am a 26 year old mother of an incredibly handsome and wonderful son who is 7 (wow). Im an army brat and have lived all over the world so I don't really have a place where I call home. I was born in Chicago and been traveling since the age of 4. I recently moved to Philly from California in order to teach high needs/risk school. My son still lives there with my parents until I get settled in here and get adjusted with my first year of teaching. I love life, but Im still trying to find my place in it. I have so many thoughts, ideas, dreams, and aspirations that I get lost trying to follow too many paths. One thing for sure though is that I want to give back to the black community, to our youth especially.
I've experienced so many things in my 26 years and now I'm ready to settle down and start a family. I'm no longer intimidated by the "M" word (marriage), but I definitely don't want to rush things. I just need to find someone who isn't intimidated by me. I'm a "go-getter", very independent (sorry for the cliche), and I love to have fun. However, being new to a big city with hardly any friends and absolutely no family can get very loney. So if you have questions and would like to get to know me better feel free to hit me up.
