I remember years ago someone told me I should take caution when it comes to love..I did...I did...tell them I was happy and my heart is broken all my scars are open tell them what I hoped would be impossible..and now when all is done..there is nothing to say..
I try everyday to make my life drama free and "easy". It just never works out that way...nothing is ever easy. We are constantly fighting time and what is done. Sometimes we sit there dwelling on what was...God knows why we do it? All we can hope is that we learn from our mistakes, forgive those that have hurt us, thank those that have helped us, and embrace what is and what will be. I am at piece with who I am. I'm proud of the strong, independent, unique woman that I have become. I thank God for putting me through life's trials..if not how else can one learn and become better?
But as strong as I am and as independent as I am..independent women need that someone special too to keep them going, hold them when they need comforting, love them ALL the time not just when they need it or want it. I have gone through a few men that I though could be...but I do not hate them..because of them I know now what I truly want in my man.
Educated, understanding, ambitious, patient, supportive, dedicated, self reliant, self motivated, strong in spirit and mind, knows how to give and receive love, loyal, someone head over heels for me as much as I will be for them. I'm not going to lie I like my man to be tall, have that caramel complexion, a smile that would make me melt wouldn't hurt either ;D their style can tell a lot about their confidence level, not a "thug" but a "man"
