I'm glad that you have decided to come by my place. Please feel welcome. Maybe it was my name that brought you here or maybe it was my picture. It could be that is was a combination of both. Now as for the meaning of my name. Soleytheone. I don't necessarily believe in Soul Mates even though it does sound good. I refuse to believe that there is only one perfect man out there for me or even the fact that there is only one person out there for any one us. Could you imagine not finding love because your " Soul Mate" has chosen some one else to be in their lives or some other unfortunate string of circumstances is keeping them from you. Hmmm...not such a settling thought. What I do believe in is that there are many people out there that can be right for us and I don't mean Mr. Right Now or Ms. Right now, even though I have ran across a few of Mr. Right Nows, but that was purely my decision to deal with those individuals. There are many people that follow the same path as us and direction. So you build upon the foundation of that with friendship and work from there. Am I Soleytheone? Yes I am, maybe not to you, but I will be to someone. This I do believe in. I will be that one person that my man can depend on as a rock, a companion, a lover, a friend, a support system, and a comforter. One thing I have learned from my past experiences is that no one is truly replaceable. There is something special in each one of us. No matter what you have done in your past relationships there is something about you that will be missed. I can't say that I have ever been the absolute perfect g/f. But I know that it has been awhile since I have been in a meaningful relationship. I have chosen to be single for a number of years now, my mind is focused on other things and the fact that I have not come across any one man that I desire to give my all to. Well let me rephrase that..I have met a few good men but there was an issue of timing... the timing just wasn't right... Don't get me wrong I'm not picky and the bar is not raised sooo high that no one can reach it... Let's just say that the good ones I have met are far and few between. Now to describe the Essence of me, if I had to write a phrase that captured that, I would have to say " Down to earth, full of life, free spirited, Southern Queen". Is that me in a nutshell, no just a part of who I am. I am creative and I love to laugh. I have a sense of humor and any true friend I have would have to be the same. Life is too short to walk around mad at the world. If you don't like the world then change it. You can't complain if you don't vote or if you're not doing any work to participate in ways to change things you're unhappy about.... Well now I'm getting a little preachy, so I will end it here and say this.. "Be blessed and be true to yourself first" I hope that you enjoyed your visit...
