Funded by the Knight Foundation's Black Male Engagement campaign, Words On The Street partners Jones with Art Sanctuary, Barnes & Noble, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Clear Channel Radio, and Minotaur Books in an effort targeting at-risk students. Jones, who is a contributor to several short story collections, is also the author of the hilarious e-book, Daddy's Home.
