*HIV is spread through unprotected v a g i n a l, anal, or oral sex with an infected person. It is also spread thorugh sharing infected needles for drugs, tatoos and peircings, or from an infected mother to her baby through breast feeding.

*There is no cure for HIV.

*When a person first contracts HIV there are usually no symptoms.

*A person can have HIV and feel perfectly healthy for many years.

*The only way to know if a person has HIV is to get an HIV test.
