I'm a Proud Black Man..... Current mood: creative Category: Writing and Poetry I can see right past your fakeness and see your frown thru your smiling mask. You think all men are liars and cheats just because you've been hurt in the past. I won't abandon you with a child to raise all alone. Never would I do that because I remember when my father left home. I'm no thug, gangsta, nigga or future convict. I'm more than your average joe....I'm strong, black, a gentlemen and intellegent. I stand proudly on my black heritage as a Black Man. So please Black Sistah address me rightfully as what I am. I posses the strength of God because I'm a God Fearing man. I owe everything I have to HIM because HE holds me in the palms of HIS hand. I've come this far by faith and even when I felt I couldn't go on God carried me and help me keep my pace. I don't degrade women because I see them all as Queens. Especially my Black Sistahs who are the Queens from a tribe called "EBONY" I have be able to endure even when this cold world has counted me out. The voilence and aggressive animalistic nature society says I display is not what I'm about. I'm a caring, loving and passionate Black Man. So please Black Sistah address me rightfully as what I am. My heart is big and filled with passion, my being filled with so much humor I can keep the whole world laughing. I can dance the night away or sing a goose bump giving song. I can make your dreams reality if me and you together hold on. Over the years my history has been reduced to one month out of the year. Even though me and my people have been enslaved for more than 400 years. My spirit will never be broken and I will always overcome. I will win your heart one day before it's all said and done. I'm a lover and a fighter because I'm willing to fight for what I love, I'm a Black Man. So please Black Sistah address me rightfully as what I am. You think we're all no good and all of us come from the hood. Some of us might be that way but most of us are truly misunderstood. I can mend your broken heart and have you take off your smiling mask so your real smile can show. I can be the best thing in your world and in mine you can bring a sun-like glow. What is the moon without the sun? What is the sea with out the fish? What is the sky without the birds? What is the day without the night?
