Love to write poetry here are a few...Maybe one day I can write about you...lol MY SOUL CAUGHT FIRE My soul caught fire there was a spark and then a sudden blast. It spread so fast, hard to contain my dreams turned into ash. It singed my spirit, and scorched my love and consumed all of me. Smoke and soot filled my eyes making it hard for me to see. I knew better than to play with fireworks I knew I could get burned. A fire “man” is supposed to save your life at least that’s what I learned. It’s so hot, let me out! Where is the fire escape? It’s too intense, I can’t take the heat, and this cannot be my fate! This indeed is the worst pain that I have ever felt. I tried to be still and pretend I was fine but my heart began to melt. Someone please douse me with water I would much rather drown. Because the feeling is to intense and taking me to the ground. When I was younger I was told not to play with lighters. Now that I am older I wish I would have listened because my soul caught fire.

Seems at night i feel so empty

It appears at night is when I am broken
It appears at night someone else you are holding
It appears at night that I am visibly shaken
It appears at night i notice my love was taken.
It appears at night is when I miss you.
Only at night is when I have an issue.
SOME SAY
Some say that I am dwelling holding onto my past.
I say if you really love someone you dont recover fast. I am just making sure I left no words unspoken! While I give my heart a break from being broken. Some say when its over one has to move on with their life. They even say one mans trash could be another mans wife. I am not saying that I disagree... and that is what i am hoping. I am just giving my heart a break from being broken. Some say that I am a mess and I have to learn to trust again. I plan to do that with a man I call my friend. I am not saying I cant love him, Yes, I am still open I am just giving my heart a break from being broken. Some are saying that I am tainted, or maybe even damaged. I say if you give someone too much they may take advantage. I do want him and plan to give my love as a token. I am just giving my heart a break from being broken. MY SON RIP
Kissing you and holding you and putting you in my lap and... Loving you and touching you those memories never happened... Cuddling you and singing to you and putting you down for a nap and.... Listening to you and talking to you those memories never happened... Putting you down and picking you up and swinging you all around and... Covering you up and tucking you in those memories never happened... The boogie man and peter pan and PB& J and... Scraped knees and nose bleeds those memories never happened... Your sister punches you and the other kicks, I scream at the top of my lungs and... You guys making up and making fun those memories never happened... Dropping you off and picking you up and letting go of your hand and... Awards assembly and basketball practice those memories never happened... Giving you advice and listening to you lie and telling you not to do that and... Graduation and holidays those memories never happened... Movie theatres and amusements parks and taking you to the zoo and.... sitting in church while you fall asleep those memories never happened... Your first fist fight, you do alright, I tell you that you will be fine and... Emergency rooms and cold and flu's those memories never happened... Your frst new car, going out with your boys the worry and the panic... meeting your wife and squeezing your kids those memories will never happen favorite pages
