My name is Coco (yes, my real name), and I am teacher for the deaf. My baby brother was born deaf and I watched him struggle with learning almost all his life. I promised him that when I grew up I would learn sign language and become a teacher for the deaf, and of course I kept my promise. I love my job so much that I can't believe I get paid for it. Teaching and watching children learn is my passion. I would not want to be doing anything else. I have no kids of my own, but am a mother to hundreds a auntie to millions and a sister to even more. I just relocated to Vancouver, Washington so I can begin working for Washington State School for the Deaf in January 2009. I am half black and half asian/chamorro, I was born in guam, lived their until I was ten, moved to San Diego and lived their until graduation. I went to college in Michigan and Washington, got my degree and decided to stay here. So their was my life story, anything else you want to know, just leave me a message. I'm a really laid back person that would rather stay at home and watch a movie than hit the club scene. So just hit me up. Everyone keeps asking me what my nationality is. My father is from Trinidad and my mother Chamorro/Filipino. So I am a true Islander. I love my culture and am proud of my nationality. Best believe I be rockin the "Long Hair Don't Care" attitude. |
