My affirmation.... I am ME. In all the world there is no one else like me. There are persons who have some parts like me, but no one adds up exactly like me. I own my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes, my fears. I own all my triumphs and successes, all my failures and mistakes. Because I own all of me, I can become intimately acquainted with me. By so doing I can love me and be friendly with me in all my parts. I can then make it possible for all of me to work in my best interests. However I look and sound, whatever I say and do, and whatever I think and feel at a given moment in time is me. I can see, hear, feel, think, say, and do. I have the tools to survive, to be close to others, to be productive, and to make sense and order out of the world of people and things outside of me. I own me, and therefore I can engineer me. I am me, and I am OK!

Lessons Learned: If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away; If he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay; The only person you can control in a relationship is you; You need time to heal between relationships... there is nothing cute about baggage... deal with your issues before pursuing a new relationship; You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you... a relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals... look for someone complimentary... not supplementary; They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them and an entire lifetime to forget them.I am still determined to be cheerful and happy in whatever situation I may be; for I have also learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance!
