WARNING!!! WARNING!!! WARNING!!!

I am NOT:

A Gangster, A Thug or A Nigga
I AM A GROWN MAN

A man handles his business; takes care of himself and serves as a providing force in his household; a man is protective of and caring towards his mate and children (if he has any), and will sacrifice whatever is necessary to ensure their well-being.

So sistas that are looking for thugs and gangsters, etc. please either grow up and proceed, or please go hit up MrWannabeGangsta.com.

But either way, recognize that your wanting Black males as thugs and gangsters leads the weak-minded amongst us to become those very things - hence further pulling our people down and helping to destroy our credibility as a people.

NOW don't get me wrong - I can kick with tha best of them, and can definitely put it down. Its amazing that sistas automatically assume if a brotha ain't tryin 2 be Gangsta then he's weak. Just goes to show how many sistas have never known a real man - which is truly sad, but is indicative of whats wrong with our people.

So if I've offended any Gangsta-Chasers, that's good - hopefully I offended you enough to cause you to rethink your priorities and their impact on our community. If you were already on a higher level, then I welcome you to proceed...

Okay - now that I've gotten that out of the way (lol) some basic Info on Me:

I'm 30,
u can peep the visuals in tha pic, but

I have my own car
Own place
with no children of my own, so no baby mama / baby daddy drama...

I graduated from Mizzou with a degree in Political Science a few years back, and am now working as a paralegal for a law firm downtown. Its cool - definitely pays tha bills - I've been at it for bout 4 years.

I'm not gonna put a whole lot on here - gotta leave something for you to wonder about right?

So if u like what u see and wanna know more, drop me a note or IM. I'm also on yahoo instant messenger, so u can hit me there too - nrtaharka@yahoo.com

Obama is NOT Our Savior!!!

Posted

It is a shame how lazy we are as individuals when it comes to activism nowadays. Time after time - like the celebration people had when OJ was found not guilty, to Jackie Robinson's entrance into baseball, we place all of our hopes and aspirations into acceptance by and assimilation into the white man's world. Obama, when he was elected to office, made it clear that he had no intention on helping Black people specifically, and tried to forewarn us not to expect it. But for many, his mere... STOPPING THE VIOLENCE IN OUR CITY

Posted

Living at the corner of one of the most dangerous blocks in THE most dangerous city in the United States, everyday I see the impact that the loss of history and culture has on our people. For any and all people, their history and culture are what shape their worldview - the way in which they view the world and interpret/internalize what is happening in it, and how it affects them. In order to affect any kind of permanent change, then, it is vital to do what we can to make available to our... (continue reading)
