New Year, New Beginning With change in the air, everyone's lives are changing faster than they can imagine. Being a black woman is very hard. Not knowing who to trust nor who to turn too. With HIV/AIDS on the raise in our communities, we have step back and ask ourselves. What is our purpose in life? What is the next step? Who was the last lover? Who will be the next? How many partners did they have? Where they all straight? Did they use protection? Did they get tested? When was the last time they got tested? These are the questions that we must ask before, we even say "Hi my name is ???" Sad, isn't it; there was a time when these words were the first thing that came out of someone mouth. But now it's scary as hell to even try or think about meeting someone new. We all claim to understand and do the right thing. But in all reality how do you know it has been done or will be done. When you sit and think about one or some of the one nightstands. The jump offs we all kept silent about. The question still come to haunt every individual "Was it all worth it". So, many questions; so little time to spare. I will be the first to admit, the outside shell is looking better and better as we scroll through the site. But as we all know, "Everything that looks good; isn't good for you." So, what is your purpose for scrolling the site: friendship, true love, one night stand; or is it just for fun. What about you?
