Tananarive Due is the American Book Award-winning author of seven novels and a civil rights memoir, known for crafting supernatural thrillers and suspense. Her newest novel is an erotic mystery novel she wrote with her husband, Steven Barnes, and actor Blair Underwood, entitled CASANEGRA. She lives in Southern California with Barnes and their son, Jason.

Hello Ms. Due I was suprised to find you here on bP, but I am so thrilled that I did. I must say you are an amazing writer and author. I first read your work in 2002. I was a sophmore in HS. when mother grounded me and took everything out of my room, except for a book titled My Soul To Keep. I opened it and couldn't put it down. I was intrigued by the story line and characters. I finished that book in 13hrs. You are an incredible artist and an African American treasure.
