Love

Love, is an emotion, Stronger then the mightiest army,

Love, The Embrace

Warmer than a Summer Gentle Breeze

Love, whos taste is sweeter than the freshest Honey

Love, whos touch is softer than Rose Petals

Love is nothing but

Silky & Smooth
As Me

"A Salute To Black Men"

Good Black Men are indeed all around us.
We pass then on the streets, in the malls
and the halls at work. Most we
cant see because we dont know
what a good man really looks like.
He usually isnt flashy enough or
rich enough to turn our heads. He might not
wear a suit or push a Lex. He might not have a "body like
Tyson with a Denzel face." But, as you mature, you realize its better to find
someone whos got your back then someone who turns
your head. A good Black Man doesnt agree whole heartedly
with everything you say. He doesnt just tell you what you want
to hear and do the opposite. He doesnt declare how sensitive,
sweet, caring, sincere, yada yada he is
(he wont have to because it shows). He has his own
opinions and you may clash, but he
doesnt have to degrade you to prove hes right.
He even admits at times to being wrong, especially if you are
willing to do the same. A good Black Men is not
going to meet every time on your checklist. He is human
with frailties and faults mixed in with all
of his wonderful, strong attributes. He needs your
love and respect. He needs to feel that you
dont live to "catch" him doing something wrong so you can declare,
"Aha! I knew you were a dog!!" A good Black Man doesnt
necessarily give you a huge birthday or Valentines Day gift.
He shows his love in the ways that are comfortable to him.
Dont judge him by TV standards. No one is really living a fairy tale.
You'll miss out on your own fairy tale by buying
into the myth that out men are no good. It's just not true.
Black Men, we salute you,
and thank you for who you are and all you have done.
We Love You!

Thinking of You

In the early morning,
I`m whispered awake by thoughts of you.

I`m at work going through the motions of the day,
but my head is filled with thoughts of you.

I`m running errands doing the shoulds and have to`s of life,
but my step is light, with love for you.

I`m with friends, talking and laughing, keeping up with thier lives,
but my heart beats in anticipation of you.

I`m near sleep my body tired from the day,
but my mind is dancing with everything about you and I wonder....

Whatever did I used to think about,
before I spent all my time thinking about you?

"The Kind Of Woman I AM"

<fontcolor"red"&g t;

I am a woman. At
times even a lady
.
And at any time,
a willing, passionate, talented
partner in bed.

I also like to be
held and talked to
During those lonely
hours of the night.

When I feel so alone
in the world, crying
into my pillow.

Theres never anyone
to hear me or to care.
Maybe I should become the
kind of woman men seem to like:
A perfect 38-24-36 and the type to
snicker and flirt and
act dumb for a man.
But
that isnt who I am,
and I will not be that
kind of woman. Or accept
the man who wants me
that way. Still, nights
like tonight the loneliness
is overpowering. I begin
to doubt in the kind
of woman I am. I wonder when,
if ever, there will be that man

Who can appreciate me
and see into my heart
and soul And realize
the loneliness lurking
there. With the need
and ability to
love someone til
were old and
gray And who trust
in the woman
Iam To keep the heart

and soul of he man
Safe from harm

for all eternity.
