PRESCRIPTION

On the matter of preseving charm
an elderly lady with a beautiful complexion was asked what kind of cosmetics she used. In reply she
gave the following prescription-



For my LIPS -TRUTH
For my VOICE -PRAYER
For my EYES -PITY
For my HAND-CHARITY

For my FIGURE-UPRIGHTNESS
For my HEART -LOVE
"If your heart is honest,
you would surly look
bright."

cheerful expression. The
late Bishop Warne of India
was asked by a non-Christian
what kind of oil the girls in

his school used to make their
faces shine. He replied that
when the false and the ugly go

out of life, the countenance
shows a new radiance. The
psalmist reminds us that the
King`s daughters should be
all-glorious within (Pslam 45:13).


Drop Thy still dews of
quietness.
Till all our strivings
cease.

Take from our lives the strain
and stress. And let our ordered
lives confess the beauty of Thy peace.
