Team Afro is the creator of AfroDaddy.com - The BlackMan's Survival Guide. The purpose of AfroDaddy.com is to create a place where black men can come and get answers to questions on how to survive and thrive in this society. One of the keys to success in America and in life is knowledge – knowing how the game is played and knowing the keys to success in winning the game. For many of us there are many aspects of the game that we traditionally don’t know. Many questions that either we don’t know the answer to or don’t even know to ask. For others in and outside our community who have found success in one area or another there is a wealth of knowledge that could be shared to uplift and transform our community. AfroDaddy is committed to bringing all of these people, businesses, and organizations together, to be resources for one another for the purpose of improving our individual lives and the health of our community.

If you're down with that, you are down with me and I am down for you.

From the lack of Education. . . No Substance
Still I wonder. . What have we done. .An
No one is willing to Own up to the Madness
Will the Few Make due when the rest are like Pawns
Protect your Queen. . .Defend your King
This Nightmare wasn't part of MLK's Dream

Warning: Smoking Weed Can Be Hazardous To Your FREEDOM

Posted

Most people living in America who are even mildly socially aware know that many young Americans smoke weed.  Recent studies by the National Institute on Drug Abuse show that nearly 20 million Americans over age 12 smoke weed on a monthly bais.  Of this group the racial breakdown is pretty consistent across racial, ethnic and social lines as over 70% of surveyed people who admit to smoking weed are white people.  What is not commonly... Respect Your Elders - If You Have Them

I was having a conversation with my mother the other day about some material I was writing in the food section of the survival guide.   The topic was grocery shopping, and I was explaining about the articles I had written related to saving money on groceries and how to feed your family on a budget.  As I was busy telling my mother about the things I had just recently learned about online coupons, the Sunday paper, and how to buy the cheapest items... Uplifting Black Women is Necessary to Uplift the Black Community

There was a recent article in The Urban Daily that documented a conversation between Lil Wayne and a few of his female fans.  ALLEGEDLY, in the exchange Lil Wayne stated very clearly (and not as nicely) that he didn't like dark-skinned girls.  He further went on to say that he was glad that he had babies from all white or light skinned girls so his babies could come out with good hair.  Outside of this rumor article he has stated similar things in...
