personal message

I am looking for my Head. I am too tired of playing games. I love God and I will not date a man that is not seriously in love with Him too. I will talk with anyone but I am not looking for anyhing less than someone who is equally yoked. I am not a crazed, overzealous person but I just know what I want. I also know that this is what God wants for me and I thank Him for blessing me with the insight to recognize this.

Frankly, I am a "tomboy" at heart. I love football, working around the house and out in the yard, grilling, cars, you know, that kind of stuff. Please don't misunderstand me though; I am still a sophisticated, sensitve, and sensual woman. I know that I am a great person and I will make a great friend, wife, and mother someday.

Now, if you are still feeling me, hit me up! You can send me a message on here or Yahoo IM me at lateishab. .

Also, I wanted to share the poem below with you all. The movie Akilah and the Bee made it resurface and I think we should all reflect on what it says every now and again.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves,
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous.
Actually who am I not to be?
You are a child of God.

If you are playing small, that doesn't serve the world.
There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so
that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are born to manifest the glory of God within us.

It's in everyone. And as we let our lights shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
