personal message

So where do we begin. Music is something that should be felt, should move you and make you feel good. This seems to be the driving force behind this artists’ music. This is not your typically R&B cat. This is for the grown and sexy and the lovers. What makes Michael stand out above the rest? It’s his love for what he loves to do and that is to make feel good music.

At an early age Michael developed an ear for music. During his this time he developed a thing for the turntables and became a DJ. Being able to make people dance with his created mixes excited him and he wanted more. He then traded in his turn tables and guitar for a keyboard and drum machine to start making beats. That was the start of what is now his career. He has opened for Avant and appeared at few local performance venues including the Black Arts Festival in Albany New York. He then moved on the produce local acts and the moved to Bronx, NY and performed at a few venues out there and had the opportunity to produce remixes for the likes of Amel Larrieux formally of Groove Theory, Chico DeBarge and Rahsaan Patterson just to name a few.

Currently working in his own studio in Atlanta Georgia Michael is working on several projects soon to be released, one of which is his own personal album project simply entitled “Where I'm Going!”, reflecting both a song on this long awaited project and his personal statement. Stayed tuned for “Where I'm Going", feel good music at its best!

Trust Issues

So, what do you do when the people who say to you all the time "Trust me, I know what you've been through and I won't do it you" end up DOING IT TO YOU??!!!!??? Do you beat the living $#it out of them? Do you try to make their lives a living hell? Or do you forgive for they seriously don't know that you could kill them where they stand and keep it moving without a single thought, or do you get them back by Succeeding? Hmmmm, trick question you say? Well I would opt for all of the... (continue reading)

Keeping Focused!

Posted

This is an interesting topic for me. While I was driving on my way to work, I started to think about all the things that needed to be done before I could get on the road with my music. Some of these things seemed so overwhelming that I was like "wow I can't get this done!" It made me feel a little unsure. Can I do this? Am I really ready? Does anyone even like what I do? These are very valid and scary questions to have to deal with!

I popped in my CD again and listened... (continue reading)

Where I'm Going - The Album!

Posted

Hey everyone!
Where do I begin...I received a visit from a close friend who took me back to when I was performing and doing shows and having a wonderful time with this thing we call the Music Business. A lot of things have changed since then. The business remains the same but the players are all different and they are changing some of the rules of play.

This electronic age has allowed many artists the ability to be heard and seen now in many venues, putting the music back in the... (continue reading)
