    If your were to make a list of the hottest female radio personalities on air today your list would probably include the likes of angie martinez, wendy williams and egypt but but if your list is of the hottest up and coming radio talent then shanta lewis a.k.a. miss shanta would definitly fall in your top 5. Miss Shanta is the sweet sexy voice behind soundconnectradio.com's saturday detention show.

After being on the air for a year, hosting exclusive events and conducting memerable interviews with independant artists miss shanta has proved that she is more than just a voice on the radio. Growing up on long island shanta was always the center of attention among her peers with a positive attitude and down to earth personality she had her hand in everything from track and field to student government. After high school miss shanta went on to study marketing at a local college while working three jobs to support herself, her family and her tuition, she states "sometimes you gotta do what you have to do in order to do what you want to do in life". Durring this time shanta always kept a sharp interest in hip hop music and the entertainment industry constantly networking and seeing what role she could play with her college background. Then one night while out at a party she met j-cartel who happened to be on the 1's and 2's that night and in talking made a huge impression on him and a couple of days later she was presented with the opportunity of being an on air radio personality for a new internet radio station (soundconnectradio.com).

Miss Shanta fell in love with the idea of voicing her personalty to the world and with no hesitation Shanta took the ball and ran with it. Lining up interviews on her show, booking guest appearances at sound connect radio parties and hosting event after event with the confidence of a veteran.
