Look, a lot of ya'll are just shootin from the hip and have absolutely no clue what a universal healthcare plan is about, and who it will benefit the most. well, imagine a poor single black mother who got laid off her job that relied on her employers healthcare plan in case of an emergency. Her daughter gets sick and need long term healthcare treatment.Well, too bad, so sad. with todays halthcare system that mother will not be able to choose the best doctors for her daughter because she does not have the coverage she need to get the best care outside of the local county clinic.Chances are, God forbid she would not survive a life threatning illness. ever wonder why so many African Americans die from diabeties,high blood pressure, breast cancer etc. Take a wild guess. BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE PROPER HEALTHCARE TO MANAGE THESE CONDITIONS MOFO!!!So if you do the math, and conclude what segment of American society would benefit the most from a universal healthcare system, and then you are against it because you realize it would reduce the mortality rate in the African American Community, then i guess you are a racist, and as far as black folks doing commercials against it, well I don't have to tell you that some black people would sell the soul of their own mother to please the massa. Yes massa..weez against healthcare!! it'd hep too many o dem niG%%$$.I guess what reid should have said is that most who are against a universal healthcare are predominately white middle class Americans who are afraid of a growing population in The African American community, but as long as we are dying from lack of proper healthcare, it's still a beautiful day in the neighborhood. I've tried, and for the sake of argument, i cannot think of any other reason why someone would oppose quality healthcare for a poor black family in the bronx or for that matter a poor white family in the back woods of Alabama, besides the fact that a majority of the poor in American society has been black since reconstruction, and is still black in today's society. It's long overdue for America to atleast make a half a$$# attempt to correct the atrocities for the backlash from slavery and rconstruction that left freed slaves running around the country with nothing but the rags on their backs. This was the beginning of a cycle of poverty that would prove to last for many generations in the future. so yes, if you're against a universal healthcare then yo a$## is racist regardles if you're in denial, you're a grade A HATER
When we as the origional black hebrews get off the european myth wagon, and realize who we truly are as a ethnic people. My black queens! I would lay down my heart, so you can walk over a puddle. First of, i would like to thank you on your very enlightened posts. It gives me great pride that there are still sistas out there who are willing and able to, as brandy would say, be down with what you're going through.Well, here's my take on the dichotomy of race, and relations.first of all, in order for white people to relate to our trials and tribulations, they have to accept responsibility for the atrocities that we have, and continue to suffer for more than 400 years. They have to accept the fact that they continue to reap the benefits fom the oppression, and crimes comitted against our ancesters that is by far greater than any other ehtnic cleansing known to history.Just counting the number of slaves that died on the way to america, and thrown overboard would suffice for any european holocaust in history.Nevertheless, America continue to support them financially,emotionally, and get fighting mad when someone challenges the morality of occupying a land of which they have no blood connection to the black hebrew isrealites who origionally occupied that land.This is just the tip of what the caucassian people have to take responsibility for. They have to look back into their own history and accept the responsibility for the roles of their own ancesters, and realize what their roles are in todays society, because without this element of truth, they will continue to have a false sense of superiority and entitlement, and that everyonelse should just roll over and accept what they diss out to us. As far as black folk are concerned, most of us have absolutely no clue who we are. that is why you see a lot of entertainers, not to mention any names, cling to the caucassian culture when they become successful. They do this mainly because they have no sense of self or who we are as a people. This is why it is so important to undertstand your own culture before you can attempt to cross over into another.As african slaves, we were forced into another completely different world from our own, and as a result, we lost our identity, our language, and our culture.ie. what's yo name boy! Even in contrast to our identities of Hebrew isrealites, yeah that's right, we are the decendents of the origional hebrews, the seeds of abraham who migrated to the western parts of africa to escape european colonist, and opressors into the land that is now considered the middle east, egypt, ethopia, palestine, etc. wherever our people dwelled, they would occupy, and not only take ours as their own, they would go so far as to steal our own culture, and turn it into a fraternal religion and call it christanity, "and all those who would oppose the new messiah they would slay him,as they changed his true identity who's name was yeshua' they would call him Jesus or(hezus) Christ" giving him a european flavor, as there is no meaning to the name jesus in the hebrew language, as yeshua means (savior)These are just a few of the myths and truthes that we have to be bold enough to acknowlege before we can move on in harmony with those who have stolen our very identities, and placed their heads onto the bodies of our historical leaders. we have to forget about trying to force change into the hearts and minds of those who do not whish to regress back to their chosen role by the Creator as subjects to the origional man of earth. the Inevitable Black King of the origional hebrew isrealites. Behold! for what was truth in the beginning it so shall be true again,and ye shall truly be free. Amen!
