I'm a stone cold thief. My nickname is "Picks". Because that's what I do best. PICK pockets, PICK locks ... PICK nonsensical intros that have no basis in truth to break the ice. The fact of the matter is, whenever there’s a free moment to steal, I read the fantasy, drama, humor and crime fiction offerings of other talents all the while creating some of my own. I'm a graduate of Iona College with a B.A in English who has written for several crime and science fantasy anthologies over the years. My newest work 5 Shots is a five story graphic novel collection (hence the title) centered on the (fictional) case files of a female private eye named Jay Nova. In "cliff note" speak: Jay is an off the books 'fixer" who helps the desperate resolve "situations" {normally dangerous and/or time sensitive) they can’t, or won’t, go to the law with. With a strong female lead in mind reader Jay Nova I'm looking to add diversity, dimension and a sci fi twists to the current urban mystery/ street crime genre. My long time love of comic books (as this is written there are several other projects soon to be released that I will keep everyone up on) is to blame for my creative passions. :-).
I do not want to give the impression that I am just here to sell books, "hype my wares", etcetera. I am very much interested in - and looking forward to - meeting a diverse range of Brothers and sisters to connect with, learn from, enjoy and grow with. Love is light.
