Recommend this profile to your Facebook friends. personal messageI am a woman who knows exactly what she wants - someone that I want that wants me as much or a little bit more. I recently viewed a headline that read, "Come correct or Not at all" which is about as clear as you can get. I have a deep aversion to head games - don't like playing them and can't stand being played. Here is a a little about me: I love: My children, my mother, my dog, the black community (although we do make it hard don't we? )Christmas, chocolate, history, politics, good people, books, music and discussion. I like: Trying to figure out football, learning about the interests of others, meeting new people, traveling, hanging out with my friends and lots of other things. What I am looking for: A man. Not child to parent, not a father to parent my children (they have one thank you very much),and not a Daddy (I had an amazing one). Are you compassionate, not looking for an ego boost, fun, intelligent, responsible, hard working, honest, faithful, and in general not an %#&@$!? Well, that's a start... Do you believe that you can have your heart broken, be broke, be angry, but pick yourself up and move the hell on? Do you believe that you don't have to settle? That life is too short to be bitter and you love hard, play hard and enjoy life. Sex is...me, you and the things that we do...its holding hands while in the park...its soft kisses afterdark...its your voice on the phone...its anticipation on the way home...that seductive glance...our naked dance...the mixture of lust and romance...its never saying no...always saying yes...its not having time to undress...its getting lost in your eyes...finding love between your thighs...silent screams between your sighs...its before penetration...orgasmic sensations...the release of frustration...like mutual masturbation...no time for hesitation..its the here...the now...makes you say "wow"... its anytime...its any place...its boundaries erased...its making love face to face...its sharing personal space...the restoration of faith...its our moment in time...its me enjoying yours and you enjoying mine...its losing consciousness in a slow grind...like pressing rewind and watching the reflections in reverse...it's the perfect beat to the perfect verse. The Dream is Alive Barack Hussein Obama: The 44th President of the United States November 4, 2008 marked the first time in history that the United States of America elected a President that was of African descent. Barack Hussein Obama achieved history. But more than that, he achieved the dreams of the american people. President-elect Obama was elected, not because of his ethnicity but because people are ready for change. President-elect Obama achieve this by staying focused on the objectives and the mission at hand. Obama never resorted to the type of campaign that Hillary Clinton or John McCain subjected him to. He never attacked their character nor defamed their integrity. Obama had to endure the insurmountable assassination attempts on his person. They talked about his family, friends and associates. He was even crutizied by his own people because they thought he was not black enough. His opponents attempted to play the race card but he didn't. This proved what type of man Barack Obama is. Now is the time that we, as a people have to fully support the governing of our behavior. This is the opportunity to prove what people of African descent have know for some time; that we are capable of leadering this country. It is sad that we can play president in the movies, such as "Head of State" and on television such as, "24" but we never earned the respect of even being considered to do so in real life. Obama watched as his naysayers were in tears because he was elected. Jesse Jackson, who attacked the character of ama was in tears during the acceptance speech. Obama never retaliated against him. This is the type of professionalism that Obama has displayed during his campaign. When black people said that he was not black enough, he never denounced his blackness nor those who looked like him. When people said that he didn't have the experience to lead a country, he never faltered. When people attacked the of his associates, his prior smoking issues or his family issues, he never showed any signs of weakness. Inthe midst of the struggle, degregation and attempts of defamation, he rose above it all. Obama stated that this election was not about him but about the change the american people needed. I know Obama is not perfect but it was God's Will for Obama to be elected to the Highest Command in the United States of America. Obama endured the same kind of scrutiny that Jesus Christ suffered. Granted, he was not punished physically like Christ but Oama's every mood was crutinized and yet he succeeded. Faith and belief in God is the greatest accolade that you can give man. Now is the time to believe that God does work miracles. Now is the time to believe that Jesus Christ does exist. The Africans that were abducted from their homes against their will and brought to america in 1619 created this fate. Nate Turner revolution paved a way for this fate. W. E. B. DuBois told people of color that we were intelligent enough to move this fate. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dreamt of this day. Rosa Parks sat down on the bus thinking about this fate. Shirley Chisholm ran for the Democratic nomination for President in 1972, when Obama was 11. Jesse Jackson ran for the Democratic nomination for President in 1984 and 1988 when Obama was 24 and 28 respectfully. Lenora Fulani ran for President as an Independent in 1988 and 1992, when Obama was 28 and 32 respectfully. Rep. Allan Keyes ran for an Independent nomination for President in 1996 and 2000, when Obama was 36 and 40 respectfully. Carol Moseley Braun and Al Sharpton ran for the Democratic nomination for President in 2004 when Obama was 44. These people paved the way for Obama's fate to be sealed. Now at the age of 47, Barack Hussein Obama has been elected the 44th President of the United States of America. Not for black people but all people. Now is the time to tell every child that you have or that you know and let them know that all things are possible through God.

On the eve of what could be a great day for her grandson and the beginning of a new era for America, Barak Obama's grandmother Madelyn "Toot" Dunham - the woman he credits with raising him - has died. Because of this I don't know if he'll be appearing on Monday Night Football, but my sympathies go out to him and his family in this time of sadness. And my anger goes out to those at sites like freerepublic.com . A sample of what they had to say after the unfortunate death: "Isn't it just awful... (continue reading) |
