I'm a retiree who is in school pursuing educational degrees so I can start a new career doing something I like that will also benefit society. I'm also a person trying to use lessons learned in life not to repeat mistakes but to live my life in a more positive manner, consciously not trying to do anything that displeases my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This means that in order to stay in the will of God, I must be willing to deny myself the pleasures of the flesh that fall under the category, sin. In doing so, not only do I prove my love to God my creator, but I also show that I value the well being of my soul. A person's soul will outlast their body. A person's soul will exist eternally and where the soul exist is determine by the decisions made while existing within the body, so why gamble with where you will spend eternity, just for pleasures that only gratify your physical body. (I can say more but this is all I will say on this subject for the time being).

I'm ending the year on a blessed note. As the year began, I asked the Lord to bless me to meet the wife he has for me. God has answered this prayer. I have been blessed to meet the woman I will marry in the near future.
