personal message

If you're interested in creating an artistic expression of something beautiful leave a message I'm listening. I make art, print, paint, food, music, literature, Interactive, web and video.

I am Creative Director of imagINe nation a communication arts service in Detroit, Michigan's historic North End district. Imagine Nation has recently merged with RedDoor Digital a commercial printing service. Together, it is our design and purpose to offer affordable, excellent quality, effective business and personal,  communication resources.

I'm not going to break it down or make this any simpler than, we create advertising art and put ink on paper.

If you're just another one of the millions of two bit garden variety Internet garden tools lurking about cyberspace, thanks for the offer to watch you play with yourself, but I don't have time right now. I'm here to meet creative people.

Let me point something out

By the year 2050, nearly 80% of the earth's population will live in cities. The human population will increase by about 3 billion people during the interim and about 20% more land than is represented by the country of Brazil will be needed to grow enough food to feed them, if we continue growing food the way we do right now. Over 80% of the land that is suitable for raising crops is in use (sources: FAO and NASA). Some 15% of that has been laid waste by poor management practices. What are you going to do to make sure that your children and grandchildren will not suffer from the abuses of our past.

Forget slavery and the Civil Rights movement, forget fancy cars and nice cribs, forget getting paid! Forget about the fact that today a bottle of water can cost over a dollar for a half liter, (That's more than gasoline). Forget that you pay money for air (check your tires). Forget that most of you are lonely and can't figure it out why to save your soul. Forget that your ancestors died so that you'd have the right to read and vote. Forget it.

What you gone do about this mess.

You can stay there and pray or fuss or whatever

I am making beautiful dreams, practical realities and sharing those dreams with everyone I love. Because Peace:

is the state where we want to take the people we love and

Love:

is the product we make to express our appreciation for the gifts of joy and pleasure we receive.

And that's just what I do for fun

Making Love:

Posted

When I was young and single, the hours after an intimate sexual exchanges women, were powerful moments of creative expression or powerfully destructive moments of frustration and depression.

All of those moments revolved around what the woman expressed about herself and what she made me believe she knew about me before the sex.

If we were friends, with the ability to communicate and share our thoughts, hopes, dreams and goals with each other, before we did whatever... (continue reading)

Your Standards Are Too Low

Posted

For years I've been trying to figure out why our (Black People's) idea of greatness and success never seemed worth the effort of pursuing, then that cartoon video that has people's panties all in a bunch hit the Intergoogle and all heck broke loose.

While I was rolling on the floor laughing 'til my belly ached, people were seriously debating and arguing the content and context of the exchange.

When I realized that most of the Black Women I know have very low standards compared... (continue reading)
