Intelligent Ignorance
Life is funny because just when you think you got everything together and things are going your way, they turn for the worse and you`re more confused, frustrated and cloudy as the fog over a Louisiana Bayou. I used to think I would understand anything as long as I apply myself...Man was I wrong. I now know there are things in life that I`ll never get, no matter how hard I try and apply myself; Thermal Dynamics...(Withdraw Incomplete), an A-Sexual organism...(where is the fun in that?), and relationships...(Nuff said!!). Maybe someday God will grant me the wisdom to understand those things I don`t understand, but until then, I`ll stick to playing Play Station (best invention know to MAN).

For all those before me,

For my faith and belief there is a Heaven

For it is my job
For my soldiers
For the orders to go to Saudi
For 6 months over there

For my mother`s Gumbo

For all watching from above

My Blanket

I talked to Love last night as she held me in her arms.
She gave me the comfort I needed, the security, the warmth of her heart and all of her soul.
I cried that night as I felt her passion and desire pierce through all she warms.
My pain was lifted and joy set in, once again I am whole.
I died for her this morning as she kissed me goodbye.
Now her love is stronger and more intense.
In her face the truth is clear with no more lies.
Eternally feeling her love bless me in present tense.
Thank you for all the love I`ve received from the poems I conceive. I hope to continue to develop and mature and give you words to feel. My promise is to give you Love so you can heal.
