 This will be the first of hopefully many on going themed slams for the Central Jersey Area culminating with a Grand Slam in the Spring of 2012

The regular time in the future will most likely be a thursday or a Saturday and the occasional 5th Monday.

$3 dollars

Cash Prize Slam *w/rules*

1. Poets should be prepared with no less than 3 poems based off the theme
2. No cursing, no sexually explicit lyrics, or lewd language
3. $10 to compete in the slam

The Theme of the night is taken from

Part of the proceeds will go to Creative Kitchen a group focusing on providing dinner to homeless and poverty stricken people in New Jersey.
