 WELCOME  TO

STILL  BLACK  America,

The  OTHER 11 Months

Topic  for  the  Month  of  July

"BLACK-enomics"

NOTE: All previous Blogs from months of March thru June are archived in ULM's BLOG section.

Ever wonder why we, as African - Americans, can't seem to "get ahead" in this country?

The basic reason, aside from this race-based society and culture we live in, is our overall understanding of MONEY itself.

Remember, it was never meant for People of Color to be fully - integrated citizens of America.

We were only meant to be "beasts of burden" for the development and sustaining of it.

"Keep the body, TAKE the Mind"

   (from the Willie Lynch Letter)

This was, and in many ways, STILL is the mindset of the "Powers that be" in this country, concerning the BLACK contribution to America's prosperity and growth.

But in order for us as Black Americans to better our overall economic situation, here in the 21st Century, we first need to get a much better insight into the concept of Money itself.

You see, what ISN'T taught in our formal education (and beyond) is what continually entraps us into basic "economic" slavery.

Take the time now to view these first 2 videos on America's economic origins.

They will lead you into the Truth about the Federal Reserve System that's been in place since 1913.

Pay close attention to the names of important people mentioned in the videos.

They will resemble many that are "household" names in the banking, financial and business world of today.

Feel free to send these videos to your relatives and friends, as well.

Eveyone needs to better educate themselves about our American money system and how it keeps us in debt.

Are U  getting "PISSED" right about now?

MORE is on the way...............

Hey ULM, U "hit the ground running" with April's Topic.

And tomorrow is the 1st of the month.

I like what U showed "underneath" with the word "AFRICAN-AMERICAN."

Never thought about it like that. U are so right.

Our AFRICANISM is NEGATED by this Society and Culture. Yet WE Blacks continue to EMBRACE everything called "American."

Just look at how we spend our "cheese" on material goods that have OTHER folks names & signatures on..........

We care MORE about the names: Tommy Hilfinger, Armani, Christian Dior and Foster Grant, than we KNOW the names of native African tribes!

U know, Blacks embrace other cultures' celebrations and festivals too much at times.

WE don't ever forget to wear the color GREEN on St. Patrick's Day though most of us don't have a "drop" of Irish blood in us.

We are the ones who spend the highest amount of funds during the Holiday season, too.

But around BLACK History Month, U NEVER see a Caucasian American wearing a "Dashiki" or "African" colors, giving respect to US for our contributions to this nation.

Asian Americans are now selling US our Black hair-care products, but WE don't get HIRED to work in THEIR restaurants, even though we are some of their most LOYAL patrons.

Something is WRONG, DEAD wrong with all this.

The Beginning of the Decade of Dismay - June 21

In  the  opinion  of  many  Black  Americans,  including  myself,  no  other  decade  in  our  history  represented  Change,  at  opposite  ends  on  many  areas,  within  the spectrum  of  Life,  as  did  the  decade  of  the  1980's.

It  had  only  elected  its  very  first  African-American  mayor  in 1974,  the  late  Maynard  Jackson.

Statistics  "Don't Lie" -  June 13

When one looks at some of the data kept by agencies such as the U.S. Bureaus of Prisons and Justice, one has to be convinced that the African-American in this nation DOES have something, indeed, to FEAR.

Just look at the racial comparison of victims of violent crimes in America.

The following graph shows the disparity so plain and boldly.
