Hey. First and foremost I would like to say thank you for taking the time to view my page. It provides a little insight into the complex person that I am. I grew up in the R.O.C, that's Rochester Hills, Michigan for those who don't know but as of August 'O8 my family has moved to Cleveland so that is now where I call home. I am currently in my Senior year at Temple University in Philadelphia. Go Owls! I don't really have any school spirit, but that's not entirely true. I'd like to think that I'm too cool for school spirit but in actuality, I absolutely adore being a Temple Owl. Anyway, my transition from white suburbia to Philly has been great. I love Philly and I'm looking forward to spending the next few years here. My family originates in the South, so I am a Southern girl at heart and always will be. This, coupled with growing up in a city 90% white, has a lot to do with my unique personality. I didn't grow up in the city, I grew up in the suburbs, so I'm not a ghetto girl and I don't pretend to be. However, I also don't act white; I am black on both sides. When it comes down to it, I'd say that I'm more well-rounded than most black girls that you will encounter, that's just been my experience. I have very diverse tastes and interests. I'm a very nice, down-to-earth, God fearing girl. I get along with lots of different types of people. I'm fun-loving, focused, smart, confused, classy, country, a jock, a nerd, a tomboy and a princess all rolled into one. I guarantee that you will never find another girl quite like me.


I am getting more and more annoyed at the invites I receive from total strangers to be added to my 'friends'. Do any of you know what the meaning of the word "FRIEND" is? If you have never said hello to me in any form...how can you possibly be my friend? I know you all are not dumb and do in fact know the meaning of the word 'friend'. I also know that you know that you cant be a 'friend' if you havent said hello to me. So since I know y'all aren't dumb the only valid conclusion is that y'all think I'm dumb. Y'all actually think that I dont know that the reason you want to be my 'friend' is so you can see my private pics. You must think there are pics that show me half naked disrespecting myself and my mother. Sorry to disappoint, but I have class. With that said, dont send me an invite if you havent even said hello first.

For those of you of the male persuasion: If you send me a note introducing yourself, I don't want to know your nickname. I don't want to know what "they" call you, what your boys call you. I want to know your name, your government name - the one your mother gave you.

Where are you from in the South?: I have never lived in the South. My family originates there meaning that my parents grew up in the South and my extended familty is in the South. I go down to visit my family quite often and spend about 4 months out of the year there. It's my second home which is why I'm a Southern girl at heart.
