I'm Ron and I'm an artist....
My art drives me while the one that has my heart moves me to be greater than I am... here is a poem that I wrote a while ago... SOMEONE IVE MET ON WEB...INSPIRED THIS POEM FROM WITHIN ME... A new poem excerpt from my book- "12 PETALS" "11th Petal" You are such a beautiful woman and you are the sunshine that makes me want to stand out in the light of day and bask in its warmth.... You are a woman of great strength and intellect, of that there is no question... I am just fortunate that you chose to share even a small amount of your time with me... I know you are busy and that you have many obligations... So I wont even begin to keep you from them... But you are someone that I must say is quite special to me... You've made a deep impression on my mind... And now I am skewed towards wondering what you are about each and everyday... You have humbled me with your words and acts of kindness towards me.... You have humbled me because you've chosen to share a bit you with me..and that...is special... In sooooooo many ways! And for that gift..that special gift of your sweet thoughts...your kind words...and your time... FOR ALL THAT...I am in your debt... I know...time is the one thing I have in very limited supply, And I value all I can get...from those that choose to acknowledge me in a positive manner... So thank you in ways that words just don't seem to suffice. And I love you for the gift...which once given.... Can never be taken away, a treasure of vast power... The permance of such a gift... Given with joy and a smile Make it so much more important..... As this world treasures the pain, the angst, the terror, the terrible, the callow, the suffering, the bleeding, the passionless, the emotional distress, the shallow, the thoughtless, the fear, the confusion, the dread.... and not the calm...or the peace of the smile...freely given... And the quiet moment when someone says... I like you and you simply smile in return...no other words are spoken, none are needed, and distance, no matter how far or how close...is of no matter.... A the gift of sincere appreciation... I love you...and... I I thank you... I am a better man For having you in my life... But, you knew that already...didn't you? I'm still learning... Give me time... My Artist Statement: I have always seen the rain paint my mind into the canvas called "Life". My art is the physical manifestation of my truths, both real and imagined. Each new piece is another hue on that vast canvas containing vessels of: hope, despair, love, disdain, faith, and trust, all focused through my responsibility to incite revolution through the power of engaged observation, contemplative thought and a push towards non-homogenized self-expression... As "X" once said, "If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem." Moreover, I refuse to be part of the problem. This is my part of the solution to the journey that I walk and the wrapper to this 'Lollipop' on which we live, Earth. "Art is,(You fill in the rest!)" My Life Metaphoric: Art is basis of my being, the crucible of truth within my existence. I was born a child with a gift, I am now a man embued with strong passions focused through a vision refined by my past, present and future... "ART IS.... THE TRUTH... SUBJECTIVE..." I formally studied Art at the San Francisco Art Institute, receiving my B.F.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies. "Smile ...Love, Faith and Communication ...Are our best hope, ...And, ...OUR BANE." MY PREFERRED MEDIA: If it Ain`t Nailed Down...I can incorporate it into my artwork. SO DONT STAND STILL IN ONE PLACE TOO LONG...even you can be a canvas!
