I just completed my first book called, "FART IN THE WIND." FITW compares the act and response to farting to the act and response to sharing honest feelings; shock, embarrassment, and desire to run from the scene. Most people cannot handle honest truth and run from it. Nobody wants to think anything is "wrong" with them. So we pretend to be perfect. It's difficult when two people are on different pages in a relationship. One may be ready for a commitment while the other is not. Oh, What to do?
Don't push it! Discuss it in a rational fashion at a time that's comfortable to you both.
Don't keep bringing it up! Wait until your partner is ready or move on.
