The King of both Wakanda and black superhero-dom, Black Panther is everything a black superhero is supposed to be: royal, heroic, self-reliant and so black he\'d downright African. Created in the thicket of the Civil Rights and Black Power movements as an ode to dignified black manhood (think Sidney Poitier in spandex), the Panther\'s only weakness is that he\'s so squeaky clean he can be a little, well, boring, as exciting as a pile of brussel sprouts. Romance writer Eric Jerome Dickey recently penned a special series where the Panther and Storm make sppons, proving that nothing spices up a franchise like black-on-black love.
