Hello fellow Planeteers, and thank you for visiting my page. This page was created for the purpose of introducing a new and exciting website whiski2.com that was started with you in mind. We offer you the opportunity to be part of an online community, to take advantage of our trip organizing expertise, and to purchase the latest apparel and gear celebrating the "art" of skiing/snowboarding.

Whiski2 was founded in 2007. The inspiration stemmed from my frustartion of not being able to find information about skiing events to attend and the desire to meet like minded people who have a love for winter recreation. The mainstream media tends to overlook the everyday skier/snowboarder and gives little or no coverage in publications or websites. So I said "what the hell", I can provide a forum for people to post pics, videos, advertise events, share experiences, and basically have a voice.

At Whiski2 I plan great ski trips to major destinations, and also some lesser known spots around the Continental US. My specialty is finding great accomadations for prices that are sometimes 50-60% less than other sites. Also, included with my trips are personalized photos and videos of you on the slopes doing your thing. For each person that goes on a trip with Whiski2 you get the pics, videos, and a free tshirt of your choice. If you decide to go through whiski2 or just meet us at the destination that is cool too. The tshirts are also, available for sale at Whiski2.com. Just click on the online store tab and you can have your own high quality, limited edition tshirt. With this in mind, I am inviting everyone to stop by and share your passion/interest for winter sports. This site is all about you. So don't be bashful- let's tell the world whsiki2.

Buy or Rent?

     Whether you are beginner or experienced carver, one of the biggest decisions you have to make is should you buy or rent ski equipment. This question is best answered by first determining your interest level. If you are new to the sport or ski less than 2 weeks per season, I would suggest that you rent.      With all the talk of our worsening economy, I was surprised to see so many people on the slopes this past season. For some strange reason I thought the slopes would be empty, but to my surprise there seemed to be be just as many people out as previous seasons.
