Been in NoVa for two years. Started out in Arlington, thought I would relocate to the district, ended up in Falls Church, and now I'm contemplating Alexandria. What's wrong with me?!!! The city calls, but the wallet isn't willing. In any case, I moved here from Chi-town for a new gig, and over the past two years I've been shocked by the fashion sense and the gross restaurants here...very different from the Midwest, but I'll take what I like from it and leave the rest.

I love all sorts of things...not really into sports though, unless it is college football, specifically any game with Notre Dame playing. Go Irish! I've accepted that it might never be "our year" but I'll keep saying it's our year. Gotta be hopeful!

Saturday In

I went out last night, and drank like a whole bottle of Lambic Framboise, so I figured...I'd stay in tonight. So I watched Julie & Julia, and do you know what really stuck out to me? That Julia Child died at the ripe old age of 91 after eating all that BUTTER! I have I Can't Believe It's Not Butter LIGHT in my refrigerator! Who made us afraid to live? Afraid of butter, of animal fat, of all the things that makes food taste amazing? Something to think about.

I hate snow: Part 2

So, my car is still trapped, and that means I can't attend any of the Super Bowl parties to which I was invited. That being said...I'm not watching this stupid game. I don't like professional football, just college. But if I was watching it, I'd say GO COLTS! Why? Because I went to Notre Dame, and I was there when Reggie Bush made that illegal, push-in-the-in-zone play that stole a win from the Irish. It was the worst day of my college career. I cried! I'll never forget. I'll never forgive.
