Women With Voices gives its condolences, to all the families who may have lost a child due to violence on our neighborhood streets.

Where candles in card board boxes were once lit, adorn with balloons cascading and blowing in the wind, were teddy bears & flowers that lie a mist.These are the ritual of things done in our neighborhoods that once marked where a little ones life merely ends. Families, relatives and friends of a child may display the name date of birth and date of passing if they wish, along with any message that expresses the unique love and characteristics of the child, and the general things they loved the most. It is very sad to know that there are so many beautiful things God has placed on earth surrounded by love, that a child would have to cling to its last breath of life as the eyes of that child holds on to a violent image; this being the last thing they will ever see, then dies on a cold street . . . or in some brush or shrub along a lonely highway.   glitter-graphics.com Heart Glitter Graphics The violence that has saturated and plagued our communities with the blood of our children is the same violence that has endured for a VERY, VERY long time, DAY to DAY in the five boroughs of NYC as well as our communities state to state. It is very painful to watch families continue to suffer in agony as our children are being MURDERED in record numbers, and in watching our children apparently become more and more fearful of their schools and their communities. As women we are the nurturers, we have carried our babies for 9 months, helped raise a village, and should be the ones to help initiate the push for change. We can advocate through leadership. As we draw on our inner strength in the Lord there lie's our resources for change.  NubianGraphics.com Women With Voices is seeking to establish the "Our Little Angels Living Memorial Foundation". A living memorial that will serve to honor each child and pay homage to our departed children state wide. The memorial will honor each child in celebrating and highlighting their positive attributes, their love of life and the general things they loved to do the most. WOMEN WITH VOICES IS A REGISTERED ENTITY WITHIN THE QUEENS COUNTY JURISDICTION
