Can we really just be friends
when I think about you all the time
when i wish that you were still mine
when i hate thinkin about you with other girls
when i want to be the only one in your world
when you act like u still want me
but yet you say you still want to be free
when you want to see me every day
when you tell me things i like to hear you say
i think about you and start to ask questions
why are you doin this to me? Is it for your satisfaction?
Do you like leading me on? Do you realize what your doing?
Maybe you dont. Maybe its just fun that your persuing
i ask alot of questions but the i ask in the end
is do you really think we can just be friends?

I walk around with a smile on my face
Pretending to be happy when that's not the case
When im alone I cant help but to cry
You broke my heart with all your lies
You promised you wouldnt hurt me and i believed you
Now i wonder if u promised her that too
I wish I could hurt you as much as you did me
I cant hurt someone whoes heartless so ill just let it be
I still miss you and i dont know why
Its hard to believe we've said out last goodbyes
I guess its time to face reality and go on with life
i know ill meet someone better who will treat me right
