Part II of Brother Kpra's book soon come!! I'm telling you it was a great story line...!
Bought that book I talked about below... Brother Kpra please contact me... I cannot find you on BP thus my critique is here. The book although a GREAT story was absolutely not meant to be written down. It simply was not a well written book. In fact it's a story as told by a griot. Of course it was obvious from the onset but the author mentioned this at the end of the book. I didn't realize this until I reached the end the book but it was quite apparent, as I've mentioned before, that from the on set someone must have tape recorded a storyteller as he was telling the story then proceeded to write exactly what the griot said in the exact way that he said it. No, this did not make for a particularly well written piece of work but a great story all the same. I'm sure the storyteller told the story fantastically... Suffice it to say... it took me 3-4 weeks to read the book because I kept making grammatical changes and breaking up run on sentences and run on paragraphs and removing dangling participles, etc . I only did this so that I could read the story with an even flow for me personally. I cannot crawl into a book or allow a book to invade my imagination without a certain kind of flow. Otherwise the story was superb. I loved the story. I just wish it was a well written story. That's my peace!

I just purchased a book by a fellow BPer on amazon as of 9/03/07. Menkaraa: The Maturation of Sarset by Khpra Senwosret. I have not read this book yet although nothing could keep me from supporting one of my brothas. The book is also available from authorhouse.com.

As you all well know, African culture is the most BEAUTIFUL in the world! And while MANY of us PROMOTE all of these wonderful things about Africa's history and contributions to the world, everything is NOT all good with Her. The African Continent is suffering A LOT of instability. Everything from starvation, tribalism, disease, lack of clean water for bathing/drinking, and government corruption, all the way to political assassinations, lack of accessible health care, and even genocide. With those kind of problems, it almost seems like a lost cause. But you know what? I for one will NEVER give up on Africa or the people's ability to unite and make Africa the most stable and economically strong continent in the world, AS she once was! But, it's going to take A LOT of work, time, effort, patience, consistency, zeal, heart and passion on the part of ALL of us, which is why I, with the help of our weekly internet radio show Our Perspective (www.blogtalkradio.com/OurPers pective) are promoting SAVE AFRICA, Inc. Save AFRICA, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to to advocacy and capacity-building in the sub-Saharan region. Our fundamental objective is to produce self-sufficient families and sustainable communities with better health services, eco-friendly agriculture and advance technology integration. We need YOUR help, ideas, experience, membership and ESPECIALLY your donations, to make this happen for our family across the water. You can donate as little as five dollars. And if you tell your friends, family and co-workers, we can achieve our goals THAT much faster! For more information visit/donate to us at: www.myspace.com/saveafricainc or www.myspace.com/endtheconflict s May the peace and blessings of our Ancestors be upon you ALWAYS! Sincerely, Bro. Hank!!

Remote Professional Assistance

OK OK! I don't even hang out on BP but sometimes I'm compelled to come here and enter random thoughts or check out the updates my "friends" have done to their pages, etc.

Today though...I want to write about a new business venture I've recently launched for myself: Virtual Assistance.

Have you ever heard of Virtual Assistance or a Virtual Assistant (VA)?

OK well, I'm now officially a VA. So what is a VA?

Virtual means: Created, simulated, or carried on... (continue reading)

Have you ever found that there is something, anything, anyone that just takes up your time for no good reason?

That girlfirend who talks to damn much and calls you just when you are trying to relax...
Your child whining about being hungry when he/she just ate...
The phone rining with that damn telemarketer/debt collector that MUST be hung up on...

Well for me...lately...it hasn't been a friend, or one of my children, or even the phone.

It'e been Scrabble!

What's crazy about the fact that... (continue reading)
