Just Being ME!

I have walked through my life without a care in the world.
Most people believe I have been hurt as a young girl, but it's not that, I am an observer and I watch way to much. I have seen friends completely hurt and my own family filled with disgust. So I chose to shut myself down and never open up, even though you promised me my heart you wouldn't touch. You said you just wanted to know the real me and at least have a serious talk but we can do that now just without me caring so much.
