Most people living outside the box are simply occupying a less obvious one.

I cannot think of many things, in fact as I am typing this I cannot think of one, that an individual can maintain without dedication and steady effort. Champion runners cannot maintain their speed without steadfast training. Surgeons soon lose their steady hand once they have gone out of practice. We seem to understand that in all good things worth having there is a fair amount of maintenance required. Except, that is,  for love and relationships. Why do so many of us chose to leave... Misogyny + Racism = Black Women in America

No. I am not a feminist . No. I am not militant. I am just doing the math

In a time where most would concur that classism, misogyny, homophobia, lookism, ageism…etc are still relevant, why are we so hurried to discount that racism is still present? A term has even been coined  to de-sensationalise its existence (race card). The systematic internalization of negative perceptions has caused even those who are victimized to believe that racism is obsolete.
