I just want to thank you for taking the time
to be a part of my existence here on Black Planet. Thank You also
for the huge amount of love and support you show me each and ever
day. Please know that you are greatly appreciated and loved in
return. If you just joined me on the planet let me tell you little
about myself. I go by the name of D Brown. Since you're my friend
now........you can call me D Brown.
I'm an independent singer, songwriter,
producer from Detroit. As you can tell if you've visited my page
before.....I make R&B. My goal with my music is to create what
I feel the music industry and a lot of it's consumers are
neglecting right now. That is REAL Good music. Music that doesn't
concern itself with the amount of superficial things that people
sing about nowadays. So in that I mean ......you won't hear me sing
too much about my 28's..........and I promise .......if I have
anything to do with it you will never hear me call you Shawty in any song I ever
write.........
I'm sure you get my point
My debut project is self titled...I called it
The D Brown LP because it's sort of a timeline of events and
situations I found myself in during the time that it took to write
the album. I talk about gaining love and losing love. Then I talk
about my party days when I was trying to forget about that love. I
even give a couple of my personal views on the way things are going
in the world today. All in all I think it's a pretty well rounded
album. I'm hoping to release the album sometime around the first of
the year in 2008. And as you can probably guess........as an
independent artist things can get pretty difficult for me as I'm
trying to do it on my own. That's my reason for asking you for your
support. I need you to help me change some things in today's music.
I can do it independently but not without your support and the
support of the people you know that love good music. If you have
the time what I need you to do is tell some of the people on your
friends list or somewhere out in the world during your day to come
and check me out. Or post a bulletin throughout your network. I
also need you to visit my ARTIST PAGE
and become a fan so the other artists can see who's making noise.
Anything you do to help me get noticed will help out a great deal.
