THE REASON WHY MUSLIMS DO NOT SHAVE THE BEARD (il'liki'yah): Its said in the Qur'an that its best for the believers not to cut the facial hair. So its not a debate of what looks better, clean shaved or not. GOD KNOWS ALL, GOD KNOWS BEST!! "Whats important is what your deen (religion) tells you, NOT THE CUSTOM OR OPINION OF THE PEOPLE cuz surely THE PEOPLE WILL LEAD YOU ASTRAY" doin some trash and right TO THE HELL-FIRE. This is the reason The Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and Jesus (Raddiya-alaihu annhu) (in Islam Jesus is a very honorable Prophet) and other Prophets didnt shave their beards. Its the Sunnah (islamic law). Theres a "hadith" (a collection of recorded history and true stories of things advised, said, done, and implemented by The Prophet) that in time of The Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.), a man he would see everyday in the "ummaah" (community) shaved his beard and as he approached The Prophet (S.A.W.), The Prophet became saddened as man stood in front of the Prophet. The man asked The Prophet why did he become sad and The Prophet (S.A.W.) replied that he no longer seen the angels that used to play and dangle from in his beard. And advised him not to cut his facial hair off.
