I'm really not here to make friends. No really, I'm serious...I'm not. Most people just don't get it...and I'm really not trying to explain it to anyone. To be honest, I'm really not sure why I'm on the the planet. I really can't stand this site. Its like a breeding ground for creepers...but I'm completely addicted still!!! That's another thing, please don't bother sending me any notes. Unless it's about something on my page, something I've posted, or something on my blog (my blog is actually the only reason I'm still here) than I.AM.NOT.INTERESTED. Please save yourself the trouble of getting an earful, (I guess it would be an eyeful really because you're reading it, not hearing it) I'm a very moody person and lack patients for ignorance and stupidity. LOL!!! So if you are still reading, apparently I have yet to scare you off! Some things to know about me: I'm very into politics, and actually have some faith in at least part of the political system. Mostly though, I think that the system is phucked up. I definitely buy into elite political theory. That isn't to say there aren't politicians out there willing to fight for the people (there is) but I still believe that things aren't always how they seem. Another thing to know about me: I'm tangled in a l♥ve affair with my natural hair. I BCed May 25, 2009...and haven't (or plan to) looked back. I think its shameful how the majority of Black women are unable to appreciate themselves the way God made them. Nothing is more freeing than looking in the mirror sans-weave and loving the image reflected back. Not tryin to hate on my weaved, wigged, and permed sistas, but I do honestly feel that all of us Black females need to reclaim our distorted image and define for ourselves what Black beauty really is. 
I should mention too, I'm kind of a tree-hugger. I'm an Environmental Studies major, so if your into all things green we should talk. I'm all about saving the trees, and non-control related tech for the betterment of all. I'm a flexetarian (aka vegetarian that eats fish) and really try to use all green products (ie organic/biodegradable hair products and soap, etc) along with mixing up a few of my own (I'm a mixologist at heart)!! So if you've actually made it through my page and read my personal message, and still are interested in talking, I take back what I said before. Send a note! I'm always up for intelligent and stimulating conversation with diverse individuals! So yea...thanks for reading my page! (Don't forget to check out my favourite links!!!)
