Let me set the record straight. I have a preference for Black men. Just as others prefer some who are tall, short, brunette, blonde, bald, thick, slender, Hispanic, Asian or White, I simply prefer Black men. It is just that simple! We don't have room in this world for haters. I adamently believe we are ONE human race! Furthermore, as ONE HUMANITY, in the interest of ONE humanity we are to focus and strive to find peaceful, love-driven solutions to the obstacles and issues which divide us. We are ONE race born of ONE love fathered by ONE God.

Now, continuing along. I am a BBW -- I believe the politically correct term is "full-figured woman" -- that means I'm thick, plus-sized, chubby, pleasantly plump, overweight or whatever moniker you wish to give it.

I'm pretty and attractive. I'm 5'1" tall, or perhaps I should say 'short'. I'm a divorced Hispanic woman and mother of one 9 year old child.

I love the Lord dearly and am an active member of a non-denominational Christian church. (Take a moment to read Matthew 6:33, shown above)

I don't particularly care to frequent the bar or club scenes. I'm open-minded and not a prude. I enjoy dining out, going to the movies, over-indulging in hot-buttered popcorn, attending live music venues (local area artists), the beach, the mountains, swimming, camping, campfires, playing board and card games, reading books, screaming my head off while watching the Cowboys and Spurs on TV, backyard BBQ's, sleeping-in on rainy days, having long deep thought-provoking intelligent conversations or just cuddling on the couch with that special someone.

I have an excellent booming sense of humor. (Shhh, don't tell anyone, but I have been known to play a practical joke or two in my lifetime). I greatly enjoy laughing at life and even at myself. I firmly believe that laughter cures many ailments. I figure if you don't have a sense of humor, you probably don't have much sense at all. For me, a day without laughter is not a day lived to it's fullest. My life's motto is: "She who laughs...., lasts"

I'm a simple, down-to-earth, laid-back, energetic woman -- somewhat of a social butterfly in the sense that I'm friendly and approachable. I find it quite easy to strike up conversations with people of diverse backgrounds. I am equally comfortable in large groups, small groups and one-to-one. However, make no mistake that I cherish my down-time when I get to be by myself and listen to the voice of my soul.....

I'm looking for a gentleman who can communicate openly, freely articulate his thoughts, feelings, emotions and who exudes a positive attitude toward life. Someone with a keen awareness of a child's need for good role models and affirmations from the adults in his life. Someone who is kind, trustworthy, understanding, compassionate, romantic and FAITHFULLY LOYAL and passionate about his woman! He must know what HONESTY truly means. I have long held that when a man's words and actions are not aligned, the witness of his actions will always outweigh the witness of his words. Basically, if you don't walk your talk, then just walk on by...... I am only interested in meeting someone who is seeking a long-term relationship such as myself. Although good friends are plentiful and great to have, my days of casual dating are over!!! I want ONE MAN to call MY OWN!

There is one thing of which you can be assured. If, after we meet, there is no romantic chemistry between us, you will still want me to be your friend. I am truly a great woman, mother, friend, partner, spouse and lover! No brags, just facts. Afterall, I am a Virgo on the Libra cusp and you know what that means... So, let's talk and get to know one another. Whaddya say? At the very least, we'll have some good laughs exchanging jokes or better yet, sharing the Lord together.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to watch Football (How 'bout dem Boys?) and Basketball (Go, Spurs, Go!)

I enjoy Tennis, Bowling & love all kinds of Water Sports. My favorite outdoor activities consist of swimming, walking, gardening, hanging out with family, friends and neighbors at backyard BBQ's.

When I do get out in the "great" outdoors, I especially like Camping. Also going to the Beach, Boating & Sailing. As well as going to the wooded mountains with a near-by babbling brook. And if there's a waterfall, well, that is a slice of heaven to me!! Oh, my! How could I forget sunset and star-gazing with my Sweet Babycakes!?! I like both dogs and cats (especially jungle cats).

Yes, people, I do have junk in my trunk! I'm not a workout or fitness addict. I do workout occasionally and am very physically active. I am in excellent physical health! For the most part, I try to follow a healthy eating plan ~ except when it comes to nachos!! (For those of you who live here in San Antonio, you must know, Chacho's nacho's are my absolute weakness!! Throw in a Margarita and I'm in bliss ~~ LOL!!) Thankfully, I only allow myself to indulge every once in a while.... LOL!
