I'm Damon livwe on the Westside of Detroit. Fenkell Ave. 4life. As you can see I'm confined to a wheelchair. I aquired my injury January 19, 1996 due to a gunshot wound to the neck when i was 18. My life changed when I got shot, but it didn't stop me from living my life. I was a senior at Northern Hight when I got injured, as soon as I got out of hospital I enrolled in Henryford High and graduated c/o 97. Iknow attend Henryford Community College and will be obtaining my Associates degree in Criminal Justice this fall. I'm a member of a group called Pioneers for Peace. We're a group that consist of men and women who have become handicapeable due to a violent act. We travel all over to schools, churches, juvinile facilitys...etc. talking to the youth telling them our stories of are past and the thing that led us to our current situation to hopefully open there eyes and let them know that violence is real and the way you live you life has consequences.So I live my life positive everyday because Iam truly blessed to be alive so like Isaid I keep it moving. All you abled body people need to step yo game-up case if you aint doing somethin positive in your life what is your purpose. I knoqw mines, so roll with me or step outta my way.
