MORE THAN A LIL BIT

My gurl has told me that there is too much to read on my page so I shortened it but hey READING IS FUNDAMENTAL! SO WHAT IS THE SYNOPSIS?
      MY CORNER: BEFORE YOU READ THE NEXT STATEMENT, PLEASE KNOW THAT I AM NOT ON BP LOOKING FOR A MAN. IF I HAPPEN TO MEET SOMEONE AND THE FRIENDSHIP PROGRESSES INTO MORE THAN THAT'S COOL. BUT FOR NOW IMMA PARLAY. 06/11/2009: Fellas please come with something other than a sexual conversation. At least try to play it off - LOL. Cuz I will not take you serious at all if you don't come correct. 5/17/2009: A college education does not equal sophistication. 2/18/2009: It's been a minute since I spoke from my soapbox ... Today my only thoughts are that it is just as important for the fellas to be emotionally stable as it is for a woman in this day and age. I know we are used to the ladies being the "so emotional being" but I recently had a situation happen with a young man. Although he is very much so a man, maybe needs growth in the maturity category, but nonetheless far from a punk. And I have seen like a Dr. Jerykl & Hyde unfold b4 my eyes. It appears to me that there is some emotional instability which did not come out until a recent breakup. True enough breakups are hard. But fellas when you show emotional instability it lessens drastically your chances of ever getting back what you lost. Just be careful in the situation - don't try to act one day like it don't bother you & be insulting and then the next day want to sit & talk about it and reconcile ... Just my thoughts, but hey I'm only one person that just happens to require stability in life. I am also a very laid back person sometimes to the point of being nonchalant - maybe because I know that life continues regardless. 2/9/08: To add to the 1/26/08 message - All lot of folks think that they are slick. They play into what they believe you desire/want. But they Will be known by their fruit. What that means is that all will come to light. If it ain't Real it can not last long. There is much truth to the phrase Actions Speak Louder Than Words. All these thoughts and comments I write are fine and dandy but if I don't believe them enough to do them then they are pointless, idle, in vain. I have my share of issues just like the next one but what makes the difference is that you are actually putting forth effort for correction. Habits are nothing more than something we've done over and over to the point of perfection. And it will take that same effort to break a bad habit. 1/26/08: We all need to get our stuff together, but Men we really need more mature Men in the earth. For Real. Need more true God Fearing, Heart of God MEN. The bible states He that findth a wife findth a good thing. So you have to be looking. God never intended for women to be searching for you. And when you are not together spiritually then God is not obligated to bring that good one across your path. Wonder why you keep meeting all these crazy women (and there are a lot out there No LIE)... WE have to begin with OURSELVES. I believe most people want someone to share life with but you can't have your cake and eat it too. GROW UP - Be the MAN or the WOMAN that God sees you as, stop playing games. Life is short. Make the most of it - I'd hate for you to waste time on meaningless things and then be reminiscing in hell of how you should have got your stuff together - And there is such much more to that statement than I have time to get into. Diseases are larking about all over. The game plan is to take you out - destroy you so that your God ordained purpose cannot be fulfilled. THIS IS SUCH A SERIOUS MATTER. I've been asked "What are the things that make u take notice of a guy"? Here's my answer... CONSISTENCY ... keep up what you start... A guy that understands what is means to invest quality time into a relationship. Style, a guy that can dress, attractive, nice smile, clean nails - overall well kept, nice build - that gets my visual attention. But also luv a man with intelligence - knows where he is heading even though he may not have the entire road map planned out - definitely someone spiritually sound cuz i lives by faith- respectful, confident, kind hearted --- knows how to take charge but still make you feel respected and also a team player... Business minded, one that appreciates where he has come from -values culture. Has a hustlin spirit about him meaning that he is willing to work hard to be that provider, one who has fatherly characteristics -can impart guidance into a child's life.... this is just a general idea I am certain the list could go on & on Seems like nowadays very few have anything worth reading on their page. More like a love classified ad ... I remember when I first setup my page it wasn't really like that but guess times have definitely changed What is happening to the grown & sexy social scenes across America! Almost non-existing, dress codes are thrown out the window when one can always just pay more to get in.... Also... Fellas - PLEASE address a lady correctly. If English is not your forte` and you can not express yourself without every other word being a curse word then please "Pass Me By" We need more responsible black men & women in this day & age. Notice I stated both sexes. It is a difference between embracing urban & embracing ghettoness - Ghettoness (if even a word) is a disease that is widespread in America. Not just amongst blacks but we might be able to say we are the majority. I can wear some fly urban gear and not be ghetto, because ghetto is a mentality that comes out in how you present yourself. And oh yea, what dignity is there in being a Thug? I encourage whoever is reading this profile - lets brings some dignity & respect back to the forefront of our culture/race. Let's patronize the black businesses more and black businesses be straight about yours.
