personal message

As I enter the 26th year of my life and reflect upon the quarter-century that I have lived (at least what I can remember of it), I think about the good things I have done, the type of person and man I have become thus far, but I also think about my regrets, and my self-inflicted disappointments. Mos importantly, I ask myself the four most important questions, as far as I am concerned about my 25-year old life: 1) Have I lived up to God's standards? 2) Would my grandparents (especially my grandmother, who was my very best friend until her death) be proud? 3)Am I setting an exceptional example as a man for the nephews to follow? 4) And am i keeping a promise to myself I made long ago...to live my life as a young man, to ensure a great life for myself (and family) as I get older? Well, I don't know; in any case, I digress 'til the next time. About myself, I sometimes think of myself as the square piece in a seemingly round world, but I am sure that is not the case... Me in a few words: Teacher, child (of my mother & father, and the supreme being), lover of jazz, culture, history, reading (you know, the "nerdier" things of the world); interested in becoming a more intellectually and spiritually sound person, sharing my insights regarding the world and its situations, also, I hope to gain insights from insightful and interesting people. I know that is not the most interesting personal message, but it's me...but in more than a few words.
