How will you succeed in helping me
When you're not free

Past wounds have you confined
Your harsh waysI decline

Quick to give instructions
Hesitant on receiving suggestions

Wise because you are older
I disagree, but life has made you colder

Take the time to reflect
The loving which you neglect

Open your eyes
Baby, You’ve got the prize

Know that it takes two
It's not all about you

Compromise is the key
So make time and work with me

How can marriage be in the picture
When the present has an uncertain future

Let's take a step back
And save what's falling thru the cracks

Acknowledge the strain
Causing the damaging pain

May He help us with the decision
Causethis is not what I envisioned

essence of him(2nd poem)

when he walks into the room
everything transforms even the moon

the power in his stride
moves the depths of my insides

his stare can pierce through a heart of stone
breaks all barriers of the unknown

when he opens his mouth to speak
take heed to what he will teach

the knowlegde which is revealed
gives access to what has been sealed

his presence brings a sense of grace
he leaves without a trace

why is it u ask for something ur not willing to live
the list of ideals u so readily give

he must make a certain pay
in order for him to stay

he must be good in bed
or a different place u will lay ur head

u demand a specific quailty of man
let me ask what are your morals by which u stand

what is it that u will bring to the table
will u be ready, willing and able

before u make ur decree
make sure u r all u need to be
