There are quite a few pictures on my page. So you probably have a good idea of what I look like. *wink* So, this social website is multifaceted with a diverse group of folks visiting at all times of day or night. Allow me to give you a peek into who I am.

 Occasionally, I receive notes from other members or "hits" and if my time permits I take a peek. If I find that your page has anything on it I wouldn't want my son to do or say,or I perceive that you are not the kind of person I want my son to be, I don't communicate any further. If neither of those are the case, I determine how you would mesh with my personality. If I see you struggle with the English language, could be considered an underachiever or will bring negative vibes my direction...well you get the idea.

If you've taken the time to read my blogs you may surmise quite a bit. My initial personality is terse, time is a precious resource that must be used wisely and efficiently. I have a "live and let live" attitude and prefer to be around people that feel the same way. I'm not indecisive or desperate; so please keep that in mind when you contemplate your approach.

 

I'm eccentric by most standards, I love my country music, classical, R&B, and natacha atlas type (fusion of Arabic and Western electronic music)

I am by no means average; nor will"an average guy" mesh well with me. I'm attracted to the "nice guy"; and have never dated a "bad boy".It's all about how you treat me and the kind of relationship that works best. Nothing is predetermined, I like to see how things play out. Not everyone is meant to be a friend. Not everyone is meant to meet me in person. Not everyone will receive the response they are hoping to get. But I will always be upfront, I will not hide what I think, I will allow you the freedom to be you, and I promise to always...be me.

A transition that took me back

So I made the move back to the midwest from the East coast. Back to old college and highschool friends and the majority of my relatives. Perhaps I'm in a better place; not just location but frame of mind. The East Coast was extraordinary. Even the most mundane task was unchartered and new! I painfully grew from character building experiences. I challenged my beliefs and formed diverse relationships.

Seven years is a long time....

It took 7 years for me to throw in the towel on this one, but the time has come. I didn't expect a savior, I didn't expect a daddy substitute, I didn't expect a sponsor...I just wanted him to be present. I've learned that "projects" should not be undertaken lightly. Looking ahead

It's not rare for me to shake things up from time to time. I think those that know me best would find it..unsettling if I didn't. Generally, speaking I'm always up to something. But lately I've been feeling more restless; as if there is something I should be doing; as if there is a lesson from which I have yet to learn, grow, and move forward.
