I am best described as a "Consummate Aquarian"!
Meaning that I am a freedom-loving, strong-willed,
independent-minded individual that insists upon living my life as I
see fit. Even if that means ignoring traditional logic to create a
new standard of living for myself, and my community.
I pride myself for being
intellectually open, although I can be extremely stubborn, and
opinionated about my convictions.
I just love forward-thinking, progressive people who stay intuned
with political, social-economic, and cultural sides. I am one who
strives through positive change on this our Black Planet.
Many have asked, what is the meaning behind the name ASKKEN?
That`s simple, you see political trivia is one of my many passions,
so give me your best shot, and try to stump an official keeper of
God`s knowledge on EARTH.
Personal Passions:
I enjoy BIG HUGS, WET KISSES, and movies with steamy shower
scenes...;)
Acid Jazz is another, I have built quite and extensive library
during my travels. I am what you might call a "B-SIDE BROTHER". I
really love that priceless look on a person`s face when they are
introduced to new music.
This passion has enabled me to develop a new musical concept called
Docu-Jazz. It combines spoken word and hot music with the purpose
of cultural education.
You see our country continues to struggle with some key fundamental
issues; For Example:
The rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but
from the hand of GOD!
I am not a man who sits around, and complains about the condition
of the world...I try to do something about it. Docu-Jazz is my way
of addressing these issues for children in many low-income
communities across the country. If you would like to know more,
